Bird Watchers Paradise
Bird Watchers Paradise can be found in the enchanting Tilaran Mountain Range, in Monteverde. Monteverde is a true paradise for eco-travelers and nature buffs as it is home to two primary cloud forest reserves, endless hiking, waterfalls, wildlife, insects and beautiful views. The area is connected by dirt roads, leading to various quaint villages and viewpoints.

The Monteverde and the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves are great for avid bird watchers, as visitors can see a grand variety of bird species and maybe even a glimpse of the Quetzal. Also glide through the canopy of the forest on an exhilarating canopy tour or hike along suspension bridges. The Cheese Factory is a great place to take a tour and try a variety of cheeses and homemade ice cream.
Bird Watchers Paradise is an artistic, rustic style cabin set on a three acre farm and surrounded by primary and secondary forests, as well as Coffee and banana plants. From the terrace, guests will be able to observe Toucans, Trogons, Quetzals, the three Wattled Bellbird, Mot Mots and much more. There are also great walking trails leading into the forest, which is home to an abundance of wildlife.
In the cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom with hot water. In the bedroom there are two double beds and one single bed, and in the sitting area you can rest beside a wood stove on those cozy, cool evenings.
